About MR Bake

MR Bake is a family-owned bakery in Robina, founded in 2023 by born-and-bred Gold Coasters Mitch and Sarah Rough.

Mitch is a baker with more than 20 years’ experience across artisan bread, traditional bakery products, large-scale manufacturing, product development, training and bakery industry sales. After years travelling in the industry, Mitch and Sarah opened MR Bake to reconnect with their local community, work closer to home and build something meaningful for their family.

Today, MR Bake is a true family bakery. Mitch leads baking, production and operations, Sarah manages the business, marketing and front of house, and Mitch’s brother Tim is part of the team as a bakery all-rounder.

Everything is built around proper baking, local service and community connection — from award-winning pies and signature sourdough to custom cakes, catering, coffee, lunch and everyday bakery favourites.
